What is Changa?


Changa is a smoking blend containing a combination of N,N-DMT and a natural Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (MAOI), typically derived from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine (or Harmala alkaloids) infused onto a base of inert or active herbs (such as passionflower, mullein, or blue lotus). The inclusion of the MAOI alters and slows down the breakdown of DMT, making the experience smoother, longer-lasting, and more manageable to dose than pure freebase DMT.


Effects


Changa produces vivid, intricate geometric visual hallucinations, profound shifts in perception, and potential encounters with autonomous entities, much like vaporized freebase DMT. However, due to the MAOI content, the onset is more gradual, the headspace feels more “grounded” or organic, and the body high is often warmer and more relaxing.
